Job Fair

April 29th—The Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (DWS) will host job fair on May 21st. Over 10 companies will be participating in the Job Fair including Bryce Corporation, Capitol Midsouth, Land O'Frost, Matthews International, Nova Joe's, Ridout Lumber and Door Manufacturing, Schulze & Burch, Southern Caregivers, Unity Health, Wal-Mart DC, XPO Logistics, Saint Jean Industries and TEC Staffing. The DWS mobile unit will be on site to assist job seekers with filling out online applications.

"We could not think of a better time to introduce this to our community," said Chamber CEO Buck Layne. "With the continued hardships COVID-19 has brought to our local businesses and workforce, we wanted to look at new ways the Chamber could support our community and help local job seekers find new employment opportunities."

The job Fair will be held on May 21st from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m at the White County Cooperative Extension Office located next to the Fairgrounds.  Attendees should bring two forms of ID, information to fill out your application, and bring a mask, as they will be required for entrance.
